Establishing business, productive communication with decision makers is essential for the successful implementation of your program. In order to effectively interact with all managers, the trainer should gain an understanding of their roles.
In this regard, you need to know and always have in front of you all their names, surnames, a description of their duties, and they (duties) are different in different federations. All this information should be contained in the statutes and regulations of the federation and / or leagues. Taking into account possible differences and discrepancies, let us give, nevertheless, a description of the typical duties of these functionaries:
• The president directs all activities of the federation or league and is the guarantor of the observance of the statute and the philosophy of the organization by all its participants.
• The Secretary General and the Executive Board are responsible for the ongoing activities and well-being of football within their organization. The appointment of the chairman of the judging and coaching committees, sources of funding and control over the expenditure of funds, training of judges and coaches, control over the observance of discipline and order within the federation are some of the key tasks that fall within the competence of this group of organizers.
• The chairman of the coaching committee (or the head of the relevant department, department) is responsible for the organization and functioning of the entire system of training of coaching staff. This may include the search, selection, training, certification of coaches. These actors can be a source of valuable information for all coaches.

• The president of the league is responsible for organizing the competition and for
calendar. His competence also includes control over the implementation of the league’s policy and compliance with its rules by all members. The coach or the team administrator can always contact him for clarification of any questions arising during the championship.
• In addition, the leadership of the league sets the time for matches held under the auspices of the federation, and ensures compliance with its established rules and regulations.
As a coach, you should carefully study the entire hierarchy and policy of the national federation, as well as the league in which the team entrusted to you. Understanding this important aspect of your role will help you to work on a long and difficult path to the successful completion of the competitive season.
